Dragon Boat Festival

     The Dragon Boat Festival, the 5th day of the 5th month in the Chinese lunar calendar, has had a history of more than 2,000 years. It is usually in June in the Solar  calendar.

     The people of Chu who mourned the death of Qu threw rice into the river to feed his ghost every year on the fifth day of the fifth month.

     Next, we will eat the delicious Zongzi. The zongzi is varies. The wrapper is used of indocalamus leaf then placed by reed leaf. And the filling is made of sweetened bean paste, pork , pine nut, jujube,walnut and so on.

     Then, in the north, every family to calamus, leaves, Liu Hua, garlic, dragon boat flower made of humanoid called Ai at the Dragon Boat Festival. The leaves hanging in the hall, in oder to drive the ghosts.

      But, in the south, dragon boat racing is more and more popular.

       Then, I will bring you many Zongzi. Please have a good eating.
