IPOC 2011 @ Singapore

The Information Photonics and Optical Communications (IPOC) is an international conference jointly organized by Nanyang Technological University (NTU) and Beijing University of Posts and Telecommunications (BUPT). All major areas in photonics, information and communication technologies will be covered in talks, along with tutorial sessions and invited/special sessions. This is an opportunity for researchers around the world to exchange ideas and latest research results in areas such as photonic materials, fiber-based devices, complex systems, communications, networking and related fields. We look forward to your participation so as to make this IPOC 2011 an exciting and fruitful event. Papers presenting original work in, but not limited to, the following technical areas are invited for submission. Fundamental Information Photonics Nonlinear Photonics and Complex Systems Theory of Semiconductor Photonics for Low-Dimensional Structures Quantum Control in Photonic Information Systems and Optical Quantum Communications Novel Photonic Materials & Components New Semiconductor Materials & Lattice-Bandgap Engineering for Heterogeneous Compatibleness Semiconductor Nanoheterostructures and Novel Functional Microstructures Novel Semiconductor Photonic Devices and Integrated Microsystems Novel Fiber-Waveguide Based Devices and Microstructured Fiber Photonics Advanced Optical Communication Systems & Networks Convergent Broadband Multi-Service-Access Communication Systems and Networks Theories & Technologies of Optical Transmission with Ultra-High Capacity & High Efficiency Mechanisms & Technologies of Low-Power-Consumed Adaptive Photonic Switching & Routing Optical Signal Processing Technologies in Photonic Networks Infrastructure and Key Technologies of Dynamic Intelligent Optical Networking Submission of Abstract: Authors are invited to submit an abstract (free format) in the form of an electronic file in PDF or word format. All submitted abstracts will be peer-reviewed. The conference proceedings will be distributed to the registered participants in a CD and will also be available through IEEE Xplore. All presented papers with final manuscripts accepted will be Ei indexed.
