[交流] what's your favoriate source of news—newspaper or TV?

Newspaper and TV is both a kind of social medium to help people know what has happened or is happening around us at home or abroad, and facilicate people's life. In my opinion, newspaper represents a traditonal pattern, while TV, especially the digital TV represents a popular/fashionable pattern. I prefer to the latter, which can provides more what we want.  What about your choice? Would you share your idea about your choice?    I choose TV as my favorable tool to acquire news only for the following two dominant advantages. Compared with newspaper, the primary advantage of TV is  visual. TV conveies messenges and attracts people by diverse ways,  such as  flowing images or sweet sounds, which are not owned by the paper-made newspaper or e-newspaper. From this point, TV can provide a wider range of use for people, covering the kids, the teenagers, the old or even the disable.  Therefore, in nowaday, TV is not only a learning tool, but a leisure choice, and is more popular.    Another outstanding advantage of TV is its huge content. Whenever you turn on TV, there are more than fifty or sixty channels for you to choose, whose content covers the politics, economics, society and entertainment.  Additionally, with the development of Internet, the digital TV can connect with the net to provide more choices for people, such as favoriate moives or TV series which you can watch whenever you'd like to. On the contrary, the news only shows us the most important and focusing news within its limited amount of columns.     Therefore, TV is my favoiate source to get news.
