About college life

The past half a year, my last time here. It should be a memorable time for me. The time when I entered the lab, I thought my life was doomed. A little disappointed about the lab life at first, not quite used to it. I complianed for quite a while that why I had to stay in the lab all the day long, either papers or experiments occupied all my time. What's worses, I had no friends here since I worked somewhere in affiliation with our school, which is a little far from the school as well as my dormitory. Every morning I had to walk quite a distance from the dorm to the lab. That's just not the kind of life I desire. For a long time, I just live with unpleasantness. But as time goes on, I find myself take pleasure in this lifestyle and a little yearn for it when I have to leave. I enjoy the scene along the road, especially the grassland in front the teaching building, always green for me, so pleasing and exciting. For how many dusk, I just sit on the grass, listening to the school broadcast, looking into the sky and immersing in thought. That feeling is just terrific for me. Our group member will play pingpong twice or more a week.I also go for the table tennis, which becomes my major sports activity. Lab life is no monotonous any more as I begin to be involved in this new group. But the time I become familiar with the life, I have to leave. Life is dramatic. It’s really hard for me to say good bye to those lovely people here. What I can do is cherish the last a few days and enjoy every minutes here. [ Last edited by phu_grassman on 2011-5-23 at 22:17 ] |
