| After correction the iQE of the reference for grain 1 is reduced over the entirewavelength range compared to the PS nq/p junction. This means that the change in the reflectivity of the PS layer is not the only effect which determines the photoresponse after formation of a PS layer. This observation may be attributed to a better transmission of the light through the porous emitter. However calculation shows that for example at 900 nm, a 0.3 mm emitter absorbs 1% only of the incident flux. If the emitter was totally transparent at this wavelength, the increase of the iQE due to the improved transmission, would be very limited and cannot explain the 15% increase observed. The increase of the iQE for grain 1 may be in part attributed to a surface passivation which however is expected to be observable only in the short wavelength range. |
