俺给个解释吧： A statistical distribution published by William Gosset in 1908. His employer, Guinness Breweries, required him to publish under a pseudonym, so he chose Student. 所以呢，这个分布应该叫Gosset分布； 可是呢，他的老板不让用真名； 所以William Gosset选择了Student这个假名字，而相应的分布，也就命名为t分布了。 Eric W. 统计上学过，但是多年不用记不清了 google了一下 A t-test is any statistical hypothesis test in which the test statistic follows a Student's t distribution, if the null hypothesis is supported. It is most commonly applied when the test statistic would follow a normal distribution if the value of a scaling term in the test statistic were known. When the scaling term is unknown and is replaced by an estimate based on the data, the test statistic (under certain conditions) follows a Student's t distribution. 网址http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Student's_t-test |
