ABSTRACT: The combined system was composed by cationic surfactant of hexadecyl trimethyl ammonium bromide (CTAB) and surfactant for EOR of demulsifier dodecyl benzenesuifonate (DBSS) .The emulsify capability and surface tension properties were investigated . The influence of temperature to the system was also discussed. The result shows that the surface tension was declined to 29.92nN.m-1 and the system performed excellent surface activity when the mass ratio of CTAB and DTAB was 8:2 . The surface tension was decreased with the increase of temperature. In addition, this combined system shows poor the emulsify capability to kerosene, but improves the effect of that to CTAB and SDBS.
