Abstract: Dyeing effluent discharged contains high concentration of organic pollutant, showing poor biodegradability, deep chromaticity and the difficulty to be treated. In this study, dyeing wastewater discharged from certain slide fastener plant was collected to implement coagu-flocculation experiment under indicators of CODcr and chromar. Through dosage of coagulant and pH optimized, flocculation effects of Polymeric Ferric Sulfate(PFS), Ferric Sulfate and Aluminium Sulfate were obtained, as well as the optimum ratio of PFS to PAM. The result showed that flocculation effects of PFS predominated over counterparts, with the removal efficiency of CODcr of 80% above. When PFS/PAM was 2.5, combinational effect reached the better case. This study provided the following relative experiment with scientific data reference, and wastewater treatment of printing and dyeing mill with technical parameters reference. We expect that biodegradability of discharge can be improved during post-treatment; cost for sewage treatment is in reduction; the level of environmental pollution decreases.
