现任的主编 Editor-in-Chief:, Journal of Catalysis Technische Universität München (TUM), Garching, Germany Johannes A. Lercher, born in Vienna, Austria, obtained his doctorate degree in 1981 at the TU Wien under the supervision of Heinrich Noller. After a visiting lectureship at Yale University with Gary Haller and John Fenn, he joined TU Wien as lecturer and Associate Professor. From 1993 to 1998 he was Professor for Catalytic Materials and Processes at the Department of Chemical Technology of the University Twente, the Netherlands. In 1998 he moved to the TU Munchen, Department of Chemistry, Chair for Chemical Technology. Johannes Lercher has been President of the International Zeolite Association and is Chairman of the Bavarian Chapter of the German Society for Oil Gas and Coal. He is currently Editor in Chief of Journal of Catalysis and is member of the board of several Catalysis journals. His research activities in the field of Heterogeneous Catalysis are documented in over 330 publications over 10 patents. His research is focused on fundamental and applied aspects of oxide and molecular sieve based sorption and catalysis, the design of complex multifunctional catalysts, in situ characterization of catalytic processes and developing new routes to activate convert and functionalize hydrocarbons in petroleum and petrochemical processes. Awards include the Christian Doppler Award, the Shell ? Center of Excellence Award, and the PE-Award of the Indian Chemical Engineering Society. |
