The synthesis of compounds with defined structures is one of the most important focuses in modern organic chemistry . Therefore, both at the laboratory as well as at the industrial scale catalytic processes are extensively used. Moreover, the application of catalysts allows frequently working in a more sustainable manner in terms of generation of waste, energy consumption, and using natural resources 。Phosphorus-containing ligands are among the most widely used components of catalysts, also due to the excellent results observed in asymmetric synthesis and their strong coordination to metal centers . Sugars or sugar analogues containing P-donors coordinated to metal centers are known as efficient catalysts  . The availability of carbohydrates and their occurrence in nature make them ideal candidates to be used in inducing selectivity in chemical reactions. Beside their potential in bioinorganic chemistry as the active forms of Ru anticancer agents  , ruthenium complexes, among many other metal complexes , have found application in catalysis . Here, the study on the applicability of RuII -arene complexes containing 3,5,6- bicyclophosphite-a-d-glucofuranoside-derived ligands in the hydration of nitriles to the corresponding amides (Scheme) is presented.
        The phosphite-carbohydrate compounds 1 – 3 , based on the organometallic Ru–p-cymene moiety, were assayed on their potential for the catalytic hydration of chloroacetonitriles. The rest of the coordination sphere of the complexes under investigation was filled by two Cl and a 3,5,6-bicyclophosphite-α-D- glucofuranoside ligand.
        Ruthenium– 3,5,6-bicyclophosphite-α-D-glucofuranoside complexes were proven to be good catalysts for the catalytic hydration of trichloroacetonitrile with satisfactory yields and high selectivities, whereas dichloroacetonitrile did not undergo hydration to a high degree.

合成具有确定结构的化合物是现代有机化学的研究重点之一,因此不论是实验室还是工业生产都会广泛用到催化过程。此外,使用催化剂可以通过减少废弃物产生,节能,利用自然资源等方面达到可持续的工作模式。含磷配体的催化剂由于其在不对称合成中优异的催化活性和与金属中心较强的协调作用而被广泛使用。糖或糖类化合物由于含有与金属配位的磷为给体的活性中心,被认为是高效的催化剂。碳水化合物由于其可有并且在自然界的普遍存在,使它们在诱导化学反应学选择性中被认为是最理想的诱导剂。除此之外i,它们在生化领域还有潜在的应用价值,例如以活性形式存在的Ru抗癌试剂及钌配合物都被用作催化剂。

在这里,我们报道了一种由二价Ru与含3,5,6- bicyclophosphite-a-d-glucofuranoside的芳烃配合衍生物用于水化的腈基的生成酰胺的研究。
基于磷酸糖类化合物1-3化合物的金属与对异丙基甲苯配位活性部位,我们测定了此类化合物在催化氯代乙酰腈类水化。剩下的研究金属与配合物协同作用的工作集中在二氯代,并且配体为3,5,6-bicyclophosphite-α-D- glucofuranoside。
钌的3,5,6- bicyclophosphite-α- D- glucofuranoside复合物在催化水化的腈过程中具有高收益率和高选择性,是一种很好的催化剂。
