Fig. S2 shows the TGA curves of PDMAEMA, PVA, and PDMAEMA/EVA films. As shown in Fig. S2, the main decomposition temperature of PVA is from 170℃ to 350℃ due to the decomposition of high activation energy unit. At high temperature from 350℃ to 600℃, the residual PVA is further decomposed [12]. The thermal property of PDMAEMA/PVA film is quite different with that of PVA, however, it is similar with PDMAEMA and increases with decreasing content of PDMAEMA. From the DTA curves, it is observed that both the decompostion rate and decomposition weight decrease with decreasing content of PDMAEMA. It is clear that the introduction of PVA causes the reduction of decomposition rate in the region of 400℃. Therefore, the addition of PVA improves the thermal stability of PDMAEMA/PVA films effectively. |
