This paper and references therein will help the authors to reshape the presentation placing their results in more physical context.

大意是，（建议你读一读）这篇文章（当然是editor推荐的那篇啦）及参考文献，对你改善研究结论的介绍及展示有帮助。应该是文章结构方面的意见吧。
