Talents ,just like bamboo shoots after a spring rain,spread all around the world in all fields.If you want to be a talent who will benefit to society,what skill should you gain? The professional skill or all-round skill.As we all know,during elementary school to high school, we study all kinds of knowledge,while when we enter a college,wo just focus on the area which we major in,we stop learning other subjects,such as Chinese,history,geography....we reduce our scope of knowledge gradually. Just think about that if you know a lot of specialty and pay the same attention to all of them,you will gain little .While if you just focus on one field ,you will do better and make a great sucess. A Jack of all trades in master of none.
Just make sure a way that you will persist,and you will gain a lot.
A doctor may be called a "Ritter"
