Abstract
Imination of 3-indolecarboxaldehyude with 15 RC6H4NHCOCH2CONHNH2 (e.g., R = H, 2-Cl, 3-O2N, 4-MeO, 2-Me etc.), prepd. from RC6H4NH2, CH2(CO2Et)2, and N2H4, gave 67-74% title derivs. I. I were tested for bactericidal and tuberculostatic activity.
