Some people think children should study and play while others think they should help their parents with the household chores. What is your opinion?

In our country, there is only one child in most families as a result of birth control. Then children are more likely to be princesses or princes in the large family. Nowadays, there is a general debate on whether the children should do household chores. Some people claimed that children don’t need to do the household chores because they are too young to do household chores. After school, they play games with their friends which help to improve their communication skills. However, other people hold the different opinion toward this question, which is also my point. There are several reasons.

Doing housework helps children to communicate with their parents. Through the work, children ask their parents what to do and how to do. Then the parents teach children the procedure, which provide a lot of time for talking about the things happened in school and even the trouble they met. For example, learning to make dumplings allows children to talk with their parents face to face. Parents suggest several solutions to them, which is really helpful to solve problems in early age.

In addition, children become more independent than before through doing household chores. Sweeping the floor, cooking and washing clothes are the basic skills we should have to built our own life. If children go to a school which is far away from our home, they will live on their own. What can they do if they don’t have the ability to do household chores?

Furthermore, doing housework can keep them healthy. With the rising standard of our daily life, children always eat more meat and fewer vegetables. After a whole day sitting in chairs, children need exercises to keep fit. Our nephew, John, is very fat because he always watching TV after the dinner and never do housework. If the children don’t like to go outside for exercises, doing household chores is really a good choice for them to keep health.

the basic skills we should have to build our own future. because he always watch TV after dinner and never do housework. doing household chores is really a good choice for them to keep fit. 好像都是些小错误，不伤大雅的。祝楼主考个好成绩！！
