[交流] 【原创】求助美国博后退税流程及样表

去年来美国做博后，开始被扣了一部分税，现在填退税表格，可是上面空格太多了，根本不知道怎么填啊，有哪位可以提供个样表啊（是两个表），不胜感激！

需要样表，每个样表10金币，请不要敷衍两句了事。谢谢！

you can stop by the desk of payroll officer in your department, who helped you finish your enrollment. He would help you fill the paperwork. So did my return.

Thanks for your suggestion, however, the payroll officer in my department saied they didn't know how to do yet.

really? These are their business. My situation is that I came USA about 1.5 months, i paid the tax and others in the first month. He copyed my social security card and filled the forms, and then my tax and other fees were returned to me in the next pay period. I had nothing to do. You can ask payroll office in your university or institute, I think there are someone who know how to do it.

I think we are talking about different situations. The form you mentioned is the Tax-Exampt-Form. But i need a sample of 8843-form and 1040-form, respectively, becasue i made a mistake when i filled the Tax-Exampt-Form last year. Thank you all the same.

I do not know them. I just came usa for 1.5 monthes.

if you lived in US for less than 183 days in 2010, you will be catorized as non-resident alien. I think you should use form 1040NR to file your tax return. if you are from China, you may enjoy the tax treaty between China and US. Unfortunately, I didn't get my PhD in China, otherwise I can help you.
