In this paper, the viscosimetry method is adopted to measure the degree of polymerization of insulated paper/paperboard, and the influence of such factors as air, consistency, etc. to the polymerization of paper/ paperboard. This method is then practically applied at the optimal condition, the results of which show that, measurement of polymerization of insulated paper/paperboard with the viscosimetry method is promising in practical determining of the aging degree of oil-paper insulation system. |
