Although the Editor believes that your study presents potentially interesting results, he does not think that it will attract the level of reviewer support required for publication in the journal.

Papers in the World Journal of Microbiology and Biotechnology need a broad conceptual footing and must have wide potential application or implication.

While we find your work very interesting, it is essentially descriptive and focused on the locale in question. （这句话什么意思啊？）

Decisions to send manuscripts out for review are based on several criteria, including topicality, novelty, scientific generality, and interest to the broad readership of the Journal.
