[交流] 【Original】My late weekend post

This weekend I am really very busy. I go to tsinghua university twice, once is for a job interview, the other is for an English examination, and I also join a job fair in my school.
Part A Event: job fair Place: my school Time: Saturday morning 8:30-11:00
Most of graduates in my school have got their ideal job, so the job fair really has little attraction for them. Though I haven’t got my job, I have little interest in it either. Most of them are Private companies, and in fact little suitable for me. It is embarrassing that I choose a major not belongs to the main major of my school, so you can hardly find a company to our school to recruit graduates like me. And you can easily image the results, I just to be a bystander, even don’t send resume at all. I am really very sad.
Part B Event: job interview Place: a hotel near tsinghua university Time:Saturday afternoon 14:30-15:00
After the job fair, and have lunch, I go to tsinghua university. I got on the bus at 12:00, due to the heavy traffic, I got there at 14:10. And I find and enter the hotel room for interview at 14:25, five minutes prior to the scheduled time. They are four interviewers, and they interview goes smooth, they just ask normal questions, such on self-introduction, what’ is your career plan. Because I always nervous in such circumstances, I really make a full preparation, practice self-introduction again and again until I could fluently say it out, and write down the questions they may interest in in advance. And my effort pay off, most questions they asked did not beyond my imagination. I think my performance is not so good, but not so bad. They will give me their final decision in 2-3 days, but I may give up this chance, because the work site is too far from my hometown, and the pay is a little low. I just take this chance to practice my interview skills.
Part C Event: TOEIC TEST Place: tsinghua university Time: Sunday morning 9:00-11:00
Today, I took the TOEIC TEST. I got up at 6:00, I really didn’t get up so early for a long time. I got on the bus at 6:30. I made a really stupid mistake, I missed my station, sometimes unexpected things happen to you and make you confused. Fortunately, the communication in Beijing is convenient, I take the subway to tsinghua, and I was in time for the test. The test began at 9:00, and finished at about 11:15. The details about the test you can “baidu” it, there are a lot of information. Some companies will consider you first if you have taken this test. For me, it is a little late. But my purpose is not all for a job, I just want have such kind of experience. I once want to take TOFEL and GRE test, these two tests are really a little difficult, and will cost me a lot of money. TOEIC TEST is the cheapest, less than 400 RMB, so I choice it, just for the price.
At last, I want to say, our life really need to be carefully planned and managed, and if you want get something, you should fully prepare yourself!
