All experts, scholars and researches from universities, research institutes and education-related fields are welcomed to contribute to CHED2011 to carry out extensive exchange of higher education in theory, practice and hot issues. New situations, trends and reasonable development models would be probed into to improve systematic management reform of higher education, to enhance intelligent innovation, thus to ultimately achieve the popularity, internationalization, informatization and diversity of higher education. All the accepted English manuscripts will be included in the conference proceedings and sent to ISI for ISSHP index. (All the papers included in the proceedings of CHED2010 have been totally indexed by ISSHP) Submission Requirements 1. Manuscripts submitted have not been published in journals or presented on conferences. 2. Manuscripts submitted should basically include Abstract, Keywords, Introduction, Text, Conclusion and References; besides, they should strictly follow the paper format provided on the official website of CHED2010. 3. All the manuscripts should be submitted via online submission system and the same primary contributor can submit no more than 3 manuscripts with less than four contributors’ information per manuscript. Committee General Chairman Prof. Yingqiang Zhang, Chinese Association of Higher Education; ShangHai Association of Higher Education Vice-Chairman Prof. Xuefei Chen, Peking University Chairman of Academic Council Prof. Deguang Yang, Shanghai Normal University; ShangHai Association of Higher Education Academic Council Members Prof. Changgui Chen, Chinese Association of Higher Education; Sun Yat-sen University Prof. Renye Xie, ShangHai Association of Higher Education Prof. Renqing Xia, Shanghai Normal University Prof. Xuefeng Wang, Shanghai Maritime University Prof. Li Li, China Three Gorges University Associate Prof. Shuyun Liu, Shanghai DIANJI University Prof. Guanglin Yuan, Railway Police College Prof. Zhigang Wang, Xi'an Polytechnic University Prof. Wanli Yang, Academy of Armored Forces Engineering Important Dates Submission Due: May 10, 2011 Acceptance Notification: May 30, 2011 Registration Due: June 20, 2011 Conference Date: August 20-22, 2011 Conference Registration Registration fee: 360 USD per paper (Including page charges not more than four pages) Contact Information Telephone: 010-59145950 E-mail: ched2011@yeah.net Official Website: www.ched-conference.org 第一届会议回顾 Conference Review 2010年7月25日， 由中国高等教育学会高等教育学专业委员会主办、中国地质大学（北京）承办的2010高等教育发展学术会议（2010 Conference on Higher Education Development (CHED2010)）在中国地质大学国际学术交流中心成功召开。 本次会议共收到来自数10个国家和地区的 230余篇论文投稿，其中英文稿件189篇，有50篇来自国外作者，中文稿件49篇。经过大会组委会专家的严格筛选，共录用64 篇文章。大会所录用的英文论文已由国外出版社正式出版，并将送交 ISSHP检索；所录用的中文论文已编辑成会议论文集并在大会上进行了学术交流。 本次会议共有来自澳大利亚、西班牙、英国、美国、土耳其、加拿大、南非、伊朗以及国内约70余位代表参会。大会开幕式由大会副主席、中国高等教育学会秘书长张晋峰教授主持。大会主席、中国高等教育学会高等教育学研究会理事长杨德广教授向与会嘉宾和代表致欢迎辞。中国高等教育学会会长、原教育部副部长周远清教授亲临大会指导工作，并向大会做了当前中国高等教育发展形势的报告，向与会高等教育研究工作者提出了如何改革做强中国高等教育、建立具有中国特色的高等教育理念体系这一崭新课题，引起与会代表深思和热烈反响。周部长对成功举办本次学术活动给予了充分的肯定、并寄予殷切的希望和美好祝愿。 开幕式后，大会进入主题报告阶段，历时3小时；下午，大会进行了分组讨论宣讲论文，历时4小时。最后，大会主席杨德广教授总结了本次会议的所有工作，并为与会代表赠送了自己的著作文集。大会在热烈和浓厚的学术氛围中胜利闭幕。 2010年9月27日会议收录的全部论文已实现ISSHP检索。 On July 25, 2010, “Conference on Higher Education Development (CHED2010)” sponsored by Higher Education Professional Committee of Chinese Association of Higher Education and co-sponsored by China University of Geosciences (Beijing) was held successfully in International Academic Exchange Centre of China University of Geosciences (Beijing). CHED2010 received more than 230 manuscripts from over 10 countries and regions, among which there were 189 English manuscripts with over 50 papers coming from foreigners, and 49 Chinese manuscripts were received for communication on the conference. After strict paper reviewing by experts from CHED2010 academic council, only 64 papers were collected in the conference proceedings, which has been published by oversea publishing house and sent for ISSHP index. All the accepted Chinese papers were also collected in one book only for academic exchange on the conference. CHED2010 attracted more than 70 participants from Australia, Spain, United Kingdom, America, Turkey, Canada, South Africa, Iran and China to be present on the conference. During the opening session, Vice-chairman Zhang Jinfeng, secretary general of Chinese Association of Higher Education hosted the opening ceremony. Prof. Yang Deguang, general chair of CHED2010 and president of Higher Education Professional Committee of Chinese Association of Higher Education gave the welcome speech. Prof. Zhou Yuanqing, president of Chinese Association of Higher Education and former vice minister of Ministry of Education delivered a speech to all participants on the current situation of China's high education and proposed a brand-new topic on how to reform and strengthen higher education in China and build the education system with Chinese features, which was thought-provoking and aroused warm responses from participants. At last, Prof. Zhou offered his sufficient affirmation to CHED2010 with great expectations and good wishes. After the opening ceremony, four keynote speeches were made, lasting 3 hours in the morning. The paper presentation and panel discussion started after lunch break and lasted 4 hours. Finally, Prof. Yang Deguang, the general chair of CHED2010 made a final report and presented all the delegates with his books. The conference ended successfully.
