【Original】A mountain bike trip

After two weeks of hard work, we decided to have a mountain bike trip to bailuyuan(白鹿原) which is 12km far from our hospital. This was my first time to ride a mountain bike, actually it was at least 10 years ago from my last time to ride a bike when I was in high school. They borrowed a mountain bike for me, and adjust the height of the seat. It was a tough trip, most of the road winds around the hills. They teach me to shift gears of the bike to make the trip a little easier. But still, I have to pull out of my strength to ride the bike, especially when we go up. Sometimes, I pedaled several circles but didn’t feel the bike is moving forward. We had to get off the bike to push it to the high side when the road is too steep. On the way, the willow spring out the light green sprout, not as big as leaves, u have to see closely to see clearly. The peach trees are blossoming out beautifully, like pink cloud or red fire. When we finally arrived the top of the mountain, our clothes were wet with perspiration. We ate pineapples, rest on the chairs in the park. The bailuyuan park is build to memory the writer chenzhongshi(陈忠实) who write the long novel 【bailuyuan】. After a rest, we went down from the mountain. It was so easy, we barely had to peddle, if I don’t brake the bike, the speed can go to as fast as 50km/h! I can feel the wind travel through my hair. I had to close my eyes in case the dust flow into my eyes. We shout loudly when the speed is very high. We seemed like crazy! It was a really nice trip, though we were exhausted.   |
