每天学一个词（3月9日） share share作及物动词和不及物动词用时： 若要表示"和某人合用"，share后面直接跟表事物的名词作宾语，可以是taste, interest, opinion, view, task, experience等名词，其句型用share sth. 和share sth. with / between sb.。 “Share my harvest and my home” (Thomas Hood). “分享我的收获和我的家庭” （托马斯·胡德）。 May I share the umbrella with you? 我可以同你合用这把伞吗？ 若要表示"和某人分担某事物"，share后面直接跟表事物或情感类的名词作宾语，其句型用share sth. with sb.。例如： Xiao Ming shared his apple with his brother. 小明与弟弟分吃苹果。 I really want you to share my excitement and happiness with me. 我真希望你能和我一起分享我的兴奋和快乐。 若要表示"和某人分享"，此时用作不及物动词，其句型用share with sb.。 Share with somebody if you have left your book at home. 如果你把书落在家里的话，你可以和别人合看一本。 若要表示"分享; 分担"，其句型用share in sth.，句型中的介词in可以省略，share后面的宾语可以是worry, trouble, hardship, excitement, happiness, cost等名词。例如： The manufacturer and the dealer shared in the expense of advertising. 制造商与经销商共同承担广告费用。 She hopes we will share in her joy. 她希望我们分享她的喜悦。 share作名词用时： 若要表示"一份；份额"，常可构成a share of... , one's share of... 形式。 Tom promised to give me his share. 汤姆答应把他的那一份给我。 Everyone ought to have his share of food. 每个人都应该有一份食物。 除了有"一份；份额"之意外，还有"股份"的意思，是可数名词，还具有名词作定语的用法。 He bought 300 shares in a shipping company. 他买了某航运公司300股股份。 The share price for that company is increasing now. 那家公司的股票价格在上涨。 【近义词】 share， participate， partake Participate implies taking part in something, such as an activity, together with another or others: Participate 意指与另一个人或其它人参加某项活动： 用法与例句： “if we had been allowed to participate in the vital processes of America's national growth” (Richard Wright). “如果我们当时被允许参加美国民族发展的不可缺少的进程” （理查德·赖特）。 Partake often refers to having or taking a portion of something, such as food; it can also mean to have part of the quality, nature, or character of something.
