The 1st International Conference on Desalination and Environment

The 1st International Conference on Desalination and Environment hosted by the cosmopolitan city of Abu Dhabi, at the heart of the latest research and development in the field.

This conference represents a unique opportunity for academics and members of the desalination industry to meet with distinguished scientists from around the world and to discuss advances in the fields of desalination and water treatment.

All full-length papers will be published in a volume of Procedia – Elsevier’s online-only product focused entirely on publishing high quality conference proceedings on ScienceDirect (www.sciencedirect.com).

Authors will also be invited to submit papers to a special issue of Desalination. All submitted papers to the journal will be subject to peer-review in accordance with current editorial policy.

o Multistage flash desalination (MSF)
o Multi-effect desalination (MED)

• Hybrid processes including:
o Membrane distillation (MD)
o Pervaporation (PV)
