【Discussion】Does foreigner teachers teach English better than Chinese teachers

Recently, some of my friends feel so disappointed because they were not distributed into the classes whose oral english is tought by foreigners. As a matter of fact, I hope that I have a language teacher whose native language is English originally, that's because it will make me feel different and more luckly for I can have more chance to comunicate with him or her rather than improve my spoken English more rapidly, but this does not mean that I think the Chinese who teaches us spoken English could not perform as good as or even better than the foreigner teachers. I'm wondering what do you think of my friends' disappointment? |

I prefer foreign teacher. its intresting, you can communicate with them about sides of life. i have a Canadian teacher before, he is younger than me, we both like movie, so we have amount of topic to get in, but have a problem that is the chinese names of the movies sometimes dont match the english ones easily. Afterwards i always pay more attention on the original english name of the movie. |
