A Master/PhD Degree in metallurgy/ material Engineering,for Master, with at least 1-2 years¡¯ experience in R&D on magnesium alloy. The appointee will work on the alloying project of magnesium alloy, this main research is following : Due to the disadvantages associated with magnesium alloy processes for resolving the low heat-resistant property, the alternative method is to alloy magnesium with yttrium, calcium, cerium and/or rare earth metals . This process increases the heat-resistant point while producing less environmentally harmful waste products. A high heat-resistant property is able to mitigate overheating of the magnesium alloy by melting and not combustion. This alloying procedure will also improve the mechanical strength of the magnesium alloys. Candidates with experience and knowledge in metallurgy/ material Engineering on magnesium alloy will have an advantage. |
