GC/GCMS Software Evaluation
Location: Shanghai

Position Responsibilities
•        An individual with extensive expertise in GC/GCMS systems including hardware and software to act in a role of systems quality assurance tester.
•        A successful candidate will have an understanding of mass spectrometry and its use in GC; as well as a passion and understanding of the details of MS hardware and software systems.
•        Knowledge of the software testing discipline and its integration with software development life cycle is a must.

Education & Experience Request:
•        BA/BS or comparable educational experience
•        Significant hands-on experience with GC/MS (3-5 years) use and troubleshooting
•        PerkinElmer Turbo Mass GC/MS experience is a significant plus
•        Knowledge of GC/MS customer use scenarios, MS (quadruple) hardware, and GC/MS applications important
•        Experience with GC/MS hardware and software system specification, design, and testing a plus.
•        An exceptional mix of scientific expertise, customer focus and communications skills are required to meet the needs of this position
•        Experience with Headspace and Thermal Desorption techniques is a significant plus
•        HP's Quality Center software development environment tools experience a plus
•        Excellent Documentation skills per GLP standards is a must
•        Strong teamwork and interpersonal skills
•        Strong written and oral communication skills in English
•        Strong analytical skills and proven problem solving ability

Critical Success Factors:
•        Technical Skills: Excellent HTML skills, experience with cascading style sheets and basic scripting skills. Good web graphics creation skills and experience designing and building applications in Flash is a plus. Knowledge of Web Content Management Systems is essential. We are also looking for someone who has a keen sense for where technology is taking web design and management in the coming years. Minimum of three years experience in website development.
•        Communication Skills: Effectively communicates with all levels of the organization verbally and in writing with English; produces clear, understandable documentation geared for all audiences.
•        Management of Resources: Incumbent must understand dynamics of a large organization. Allocates time and resources efficiently; continually seeks way to improve individual/team efficiency. Self-starter with the ability to prioritize and multi-task. Perform job requirements with minimal oversight and with excellent attention to detail.
•        Business & Organization Knowledge: Experienced in online marketing and web development.
•        Education: Bachelor¡¯s degree or above
