¡¾Pure water¡¿Tunisia sees more anger among progesters
|
|
Four people have died in renewed unrest against the care-taker government in Tunisia. Nearly 200 people have been arrested over the last two days in the capital, Tunis. Thousands of protesters returned to the streets rallying against the interim government, which they fear has hijacked the revolution. Police used tear gas and fired warning shots to disperse crowds. The Interior Ministry blamed instigators for fomenting violence in otherwise peaceful rallies, and for using young people as human shields in the latest demonstrations. Many Tunisians are still angry at the interim government led by Prime Minister Mohamed Ghannouchi - he's pledged to guide the country until elections can be held this summer. |
