如题，我问了国内保险公司，都说没办法 但对方学校要求先出具保险证明才能开DS-2019表。我请问大家美国健康保险的在中国怎么买。这是信件主要内容，请大家分析一下。谢谢了！ Do note, however, the attached information from xx University, IFSS Office regarding insurance requirements. Please provide this insurance information as soon as possible so we may proceed with the process. J-1 Visiting Scholars Insurance Requirement Foreign nationals coming on J-1 category to xx University, as well as their dependents (J-2s), are required by federal regulations (22 CFR §62.14) to carry insurance. Health insurance coverage must be valid for the entire duration of their stay. Failure to carry and provide proof of insurance is a violation of the Exchange Visitor Program which will result in immediate termination of the individual(s)' stay. In order to assure uniform and timely compliance with the insurance requirement, the International Faculty & Scholar Services office will require that all exchange visitors provide evidence of insurance with minimum coverage preferably in English prior to issuance of the necessary documents (DS-2019s) to obtain the J-1 nonimmigrant status. Federal regulations require all J status holders to carry health insurance throughout the period of participation in the Exchange Visitor Program as a condition of maintaining legal status. Minimum acceptable coverage MUST provide: Medical benefits of at least $50,000 per accident or illness; Repatriation of remains in the amount of $7,500; Expenses associated with medical evacuation of the exchange visitor to his/her home country in the amount of $10,000; and, A deductible not to exceed $500 per accident or illness. |

| 你把学校的requirement发给保险公司看一下 他们有会中文的，可以问详细点，http://www.dianinsglobal.com/plan/j-visa.asp 报道的时候把保险证明交上去就行 另外大使馆提供的保险也不错 就是J-2太贵了 反正找个适合自己的就行 |
