求助：以下八个句子的结构分析及所涉及的语法知识，越详细越好，如答案完美，可再追加金币。

1、Besides promoting understanding, there is another pedagogical reason for not using the serial approach that is used in other textbooks: of the three processes, the concepts and equations involved in the study of momentum transport are the most difficult for the beginner to understand and to use.
2、It is important that engineers have an understanding of the physical laws governing these transport processes if they are to understand what is taking place in engineering equipment and to make wise decisions with regard to its economical operation.
3、 The second answer is that engineers need to be able to use their understanding of natural laws to design process equipment in which these processes are occurring.
4、 For example, consider a simple heat exchanger, i.e., a pipe used to heat a fluid by maintaining its wall at a higher temperature than that of the fluid flowing through it.
5、Empirical equations are equations that fit the data over a certain range; they are not based upon theory and cannot be used accurately outside the range for which the data have been taken.
6、The predicted result would be obtained by a research engineer by solving some equations (often on a computer).
7、 It is of course a “practical" matter to be able to obtain the parameters, i.e，the heat-transfer coefficients that are used in design, and for that reason a transport phenomena course can be considered an engineering course as well as one in science.
8、It should be apparent that we could not handle such a problem by the empirical design procedures used in unit operations courses for a heat exchanger.

besides是除了，promoting understanding现在分词作状语。主句主谓宾成分：there is another reason。for引导目的状语，修饰reason；that做定语修饰approach。冒号后：of表示在...之中；involve做the concepts and equations 的后置定语；主谓宾是：the concepts and equations are difficult;for表示对于；to是不定式作状语，修饰beginner，说明对其理解与使用的难度。
2、It is important that engineers have an understanding of the physical laws governing these transport processes if they are to understand what is taking place in engineering equipment and to make wise decisions with regard to its economical operation.

it is...that 句型做主句。that从句中：主谓宾为engineers have an understanding ；of后是...的理解；governing现在分词作定语修饰laws；if做此从句中的条件句；what做understand的宾语，引导宾语从句；in表示在某某方面；and并列to understand 和to make;with regard 做decisions的伴随状语。
3、 The second answer is that engineers need to be able to use their understanding of natural laws to design process equipment in which these processes are occurring.

主谓宾：The second answer is that 。that引导表语从句。从句中：主谓宾：engineers need to be able to use their understanding 。of同上，都是修饰understanding，表示...理解；to表示目的；in which相当于where，修饰equipment。

主谓宾：Empirical equations are equations ；that引导定语从句。fit做从句的谓语，over表示超过。they代指Empirical equations ；for which相当于where，修饰range，形容the data have been taken的range。这里的and并列are not based 和cannot be used 。

predicted修饰result，主谓宾：result would be obtained ；by表示通过...而obtained（获得）；by后面如果是动词要变成动名词。（）是补充说明by solving some equations 的这个动作一般是在computer上发生的。

of course是插入语。主谓宾：it is a matter to...；the heat-transfer coefficients同上，是同位语。that修饰the heat-transfer coefficients，为定语从句；are used表示谓语。and后是另一个句子。for that reason 表示之前的那个句子，那个原因。第二个句子主谓宾：a transport phenomena course can be considered ...as...。第一个as是adv.形容well，第二个是与consider连用的句型，表示和。。。一样，像。。。
8、It should be apparent that we could not handle such a problem by the empirical design procedures used in unit operations courses for a heat exchange.

主谓宾：It should be apparent。that引导同位语从句。从句中主谓宾：we could not handle a problem ；such 表示如此的；by还是表示通过。used作后置定语修饰procedures表示被用作...的；for表示为了...,因为...修饰courses.
综上所述：看到一个句子，找到主谓宾就ok了。。。
