有个出版社邀请我写书，大家帮忙看一看这封邮件是否可信，谢谢！

今天收到的邮件，我查了一下，这个出版社还是比较有知名度的，但不知道这种邮件的可信度如何？主编这本书的人为什么不自己写，而是要在世界范围内找人帮着写呢?l是不是国外出的书都是这种模式呢？有可能是骗钱的吗？头一次遇到，请有经验的指教，谢谢！ Dear (Dr.) Professor, Greetings I, Dr. Amit Bhatnagar, am editing an e-book entitled “Application of Adsorbents for Water Pollution Control” to be published by Bentham Science Publishers (www.bentham.org/ebooks), who have gained a longstanding international reputation for their excellent standards and top quality scientific publications. Excellent results of your recent publishing activities in the area of Environmental Science and Engineering, clearly demonstrate that you belong among outstanding researchers. I am therefore, happy to invite you to submit your research or review article related to the title of the e-book; Application of Adsorbents for Water Pollution Control. The edited book includes, but not limited to, the following chapters: 1. Surface modified adsorbents for water treatment 2. Natural materials as low cost adsorbents for water treatment 3. Agricultural wastes as low cost adsorbents for water treatment 4. Industrial wastes as low cost adsorbents for water treatment 5. Biosorbents for water treatment 6. Nano-materials for water treatment 7. Miscellaneous adsorbents for water treatment Both review and research articles of high quality are most welcome. The articles will be reviewed by the experts in the respective fields prior to the publication. There is no page limit or printing charges for the manuscripts to be published. You can choose one or more chapters from the list above on first come first serve basis. Your suggestions to modify the title of the chapters according to your expertise and interest in the area of water treatment by adsorption are welcome. If a topic of your expertise and interest is not available in the list, please feel free to choose a topic matching with the theme of the book. Please note that the following chapters have been reserved by the eminent researchers in this field. Please note that the following chapters have been reserved now for this e-book. S. No. Chapters 1. Development of adsorption media for the environmental application 2. Equilibrium and kinetic modeling of adsorption at solid/solution interfaces 3. Activated carbon adsorbents for water treatment 4. Surface engineered inorganic nano-materials for water remediation 5. Iron oxide nanoadsorbents for wastewater treatment 6. Biosorption of cationic dyes by low-cost biosorbents 7. Agricultural wastes as low cost adsorbents for water treatment 8. Application of rice husk and bagasse ash as absorbents for water treatment 9. Use of natural zeolites for humic acids removal from water 10. Kaolinite: A cheap alternative for industrial and mining wastewater treatment 11. Natural materials as low cost adsorbents for water treatment 12. Bonechar: An alternative for removal of diverse organic and inorganic compounds from industrial wastewater 13. Mesoporous silicates for mitigation of metal ion and phosphate pollution in water I am very hopeful that you will agree to contribute to this important publication.
