SCOPE OF CONFERENCE
The 6th International ICST Wireless Internet Conference (WICON 2011) brings together technical
experts and researchers from academia, industry, and government all around the world to discuss
novel research results related to the future Wireless Internet.
TOPICS
The Wireless Internet Conference (WICON) will continue to serve as a premier international forum
to discuss novel research results related to the emerging Wireless Internet. The WICON 2011 is
soliciting both academic research and industry practice papers. Papers solicited in the WICON 2011
are divided into FOUR tracks, PHY, MAC, Network and Service/Application tracks, spanning a wide
range of areas of interest including but not limited to:
1. Seamless Integration of Heterogeneous Networks

PUBLICATION
Accepted papers will be published in the IEEE (pending) International Conference Proceedings
Series and will be made available in IEEE Digital Library (pending), as well as submitted to be
indexed by EI. (The Proceedings of Wicon2010 have been index by EI).

SPECIAL ISSUES
Selected papers will be published on a special issue of ACM/Springer MOBILE NETWORKS AND
APPLICATIONS (MONET) journal. The special issues for selected WICON 2011 papers on other
international journals are under application.
