2010 International Conference on Manufacturing Engineering and Automation attracts over 200 participants
The 2010 International Conference on Manufacturing Engineering and Automation (ICMEA 2010), organized by Guangzhou University, The University of New South Wales, Huazhong University of Science and Technology and Xi’an Jiaotong University, was successfully held at Guangzhou University over three days during 7–9 December 2010.
ICMEA 2010 provided a forum for leading researchers and industrialists to discuss and exchange their current research results as well as new research issues.
ICMEA 2010 covered the recent advancement and trends in the area of manufacturing engineering and automation which will help facilitate knowledge sharing and networking interactions. The conference not only involved the fundamental fields but also their many important applications.
Over 200 participants worldwide attended the conference. All accepted papers have been published in the international journal “Advanced Materials Research”.
Prof. Chunliang Zhang(Guangzhou University, China) chaired the opening ceremony. Prof. Yongheng Chen (Vice President of Guangzhou University, China) gave the welcoming address to the conference. Prof. Liangchi Zhang(University of New South Wales, Australia), Prof. Tielin Shi(Huazhong University of Science and Technology, China), Prof. Pual P. Lin(Cleveland State University, USA), Prof. Kazuyoshi Tateyama (Ritsumeikan University, Japan ) and Prof. Lin Ma(Queensland University of Technology, Australia) gave their keynote speeches. Meanwhile, 4 parallel sessions were held and about 150 oral reports were presented. All the participants showed their greatest interests on this conference.
