Examination is just as a ruler to measure the level of your English knowledge. We should use English in life. For example, if you are a student in chemistry department, you should find as more scientific ariticles written in Enlgish as possible to read. You can translate these materials into Chinese so that much more Chinese chemists can get to know the new development of every research field. Even you can help some postgraduates to submit their scientific manuscripts to some international journals. I do not think that examination is the only good way to learn English.

CET 4/6  is just  a nessesary key to a good job, but it's not the most important factor in the daily job. high scores is useless, thank you ~

CET太简单了，我都本科二年级很轻松一次就搞定，我们那个时候是百分制的，96分，本子上有个优秀。现在偶尔听了一下六级的听力，慢得和弱智得简直想骂人。不要在乎什么分数，我们学习英语的目的是为了应用，把注意力放到切实提高语言的应用能力上来，比如听力我现在听CNN和BBC本土电视台和电台毫无一点问题，写作已经顺利发表SCI论文7篇，没有一篇修改意见给我提出什么语言问题，至于口语经常看美剧和各种学术讲座，能舒畅和老外交流，还客串了好几次口译（每个小时2K人民币，外加好吃好喝好玩，最后还给发点小的纪念品，呵呵）。我不认为我的英语已经很好了，我还在坚持每天读外文文献、专业书籍、听English News、经常写作英文学术论文等。我感觉英语其实就是一门语言，不要刻意去在乎它，要让它不知不觉成为和汉语一样的东西，成为你工作、学习、生活的一个部分。只要有心和坚持，任何人都能较好掌握英语的（就如我这样智商平常的普通人）
