[交流] 【Discussion】Do we have to have a high score in CET-6 ?

There are some students around me have pass CET-6 , but they don't satisfy with the score . they want to achieve 500++ ,what more ,those who have 500++ want to get 600++ .so even they have passed CET-6 , they still take CET-6 , just in order to get a higer score . I dissagree the action above .I think it is a waste of money and time . Take me for example , I get 488 in the CET-6 at a time . That is enough for me . therefore , I will not take CET-6 any more . What is your opinion ? Let's have a share. OK ?

Examination is just as a ruler to measure the level of your English knowledge. We should use English in life. For example, if you are a student in chemistry department, you should find as more scientific ariticles written in Enlgish as possible to read. You can translate these materials into Chinese so that much more Chinese chemists can get to know the new development of every research field. Even you can help some postgraduates to submit their scientific manuscripts to some international journals. I do not think that examination is the only good way to learn English.
