【Discussion】How do you practice and improve your English ?

Hello everyone, needless to say, English is becoming more and more important in our daily life. We use it to communicate with foreigners and write articles as well as do some entertainment. And I’d like to improve my English because I think my English is poor. My tutor told me that there is no need to practice English specially. Just keep on reading an article everyday, and try to write an abstract of it. With a period going, you English can be improved gradually. What’s more, we have a group meeting every weekend. At the meeting, all the reporters are required to introduce their work in English. And I think it is also an good opportunity to achieve my goal of improving my English. I think the only way is to practise. So it is absolutely a hard work. But gradually you will find your English is a little better and you feel happy. Here is a beautiful post which provides some methods or suggestions. And you can also read the replies to this post. Many chongzi's shared their experience of studying English.
