在低电位扫描速度或低浓度下,NiC12(bpy)3的电还原过程分三步进行,首先反应生成的是[Ni(+1)(bpy)3]1+,然后进一步电还原为Ni(0)(bpy)3,最后反应生成为[Ni(-1)(bpy)3]-。当达到一定扫速或浓度时,NiC12(bpy)3直接在电极上得到两个电子电还原为Ni(0)(bpy)3。

In the condition of low potential scan rate and low concentration, the reduction of NiC12(bpy)3 underwent three stages apparently. It was reduced by a one-electron process to [Ni(+1)(bpy)3]1+ for the first. The second, more negative reaction was assigned to the one-electron reduction of the resultant [Ni(+1)(bpy)3]1+ to [Ni(0)(bpy)3].The last, it was reduced to [Ni(-1)(bpy)3]-.when scan rate or the concentration of NiCl2(bpy)3 to reach a certain extent, NiC12(bpy)3 was reduced by a two-electron process to [Ni(0)(bpy)3].

For NiC12 (bpy) 3 , the procedure of  power reduction are in three steps at low potential scan speed or low concentrations .The first reactant  is [Ni (+1) (bpy) 3] 1 +, and then further reduced to  Ni (0) (bpy) 3,  finally generated  [Ni (-1) (bpy) 3] -. Additionally ,NiC12 (bpy) 3  directly  reduced to Ni (0) (bpy) 3 by obtain two electrons  from the electrode  when the scan rate or concentration reaches a certain concentration.
