Six Friends

[非教师] I would like to say something about an American series "Six Friends" today. It is one of the most popular comedies in the USA. It also attracts a large number of Chinese after it was introduced to China, of course including me. I love it very much, because I think it is a good way to practice my English both the listening and spoken English. I have watched the seventh season now, and the popular actor for me has a little changed. I like Chandler more than Ross whom I loved in former seasons. There are no exact reasons to explain it. I remember he said he was a rookie in dealing with children in order to avoid of weeping the children (换尿布). He even lost the card game with Joey on purpose so that Joey can accept his money without any suspicion. How interesting Chandler is! Another reason I like him, I think, is though he is a Lovelace, the extent of his is not stronger as Joey's. In fact, the six friends are all interesting in this program. They have different characteristics and they succeeded completing the cooperation among themselves. I always wonder why this excellent English series can't be broadcasted openly in CCTV, you know people often buy CD or download it. The reason, I think, maybe "Six Friends" reflected different cultures between eastern and western world, and it is still not appreciated for their behaviors by most Chinese audiences.
