A professor who violates the law。

[非教师] I watched a program called “Law Report”on CCTV1 on June 27th. It relates to law and provides some knowledge by a genuine story. This program told a story about drugs and even involved a professor in a university in the City of Wuhan yesterday. The professor's major is pharmacology and commit a crime by analyzing the ingredients of a kind of drugs called "Ma Guo" in Chinese. He told journalist that he knew he had violated the law when he first attempted to do such a job. However, he owed a lot of money and favors to other guys due to his failure in his business. He had no way to compensate them other than taking the risk in desperation. He must be punished severely because the quantity of drugs he dealt with was too large. I am very sorry to hear his experience and I believe he must be a good professor in his field if he could give up touching the stuffs with drugs in time. However, he could not repel the temptation of money and then went over to the other side of the law. A lot of people have lost their directions in their life because of crazily pursuing money. Even a professor, asking his students to do good deals for people and not to commit errors, can't control his behaviors in front of money. Why? [ Last edited by 德德亦菲 on 2006-7-5 at 23:01 ] |
