【Discussion】Let's prepare gift for our parents

The vacation is coming..That's so exiciting!Most of us are away from hometown and our family .We have not seen ur parents for a long time , about half a year, or maybe even one whole year. I feel anxious to meet with them and am preparing my gift for our families. I am going to buy my mother some cosmetics, and wish her more beautiful and younger. And for my Dad, I am thinking about a suit. That's my idea...What's about you ?? what r u going to prepare??? One day last winter, My teacher fetched me to talk about this topic specially, he asked me "what r u going to buy for ur parents?? "I didn't have an idea at that time, in another word, I even didn't think about this. He, as a father, told me a stroy about a gift from his daughter, it's only a mirror, but he felt happy. He meant that whatever you buy for your parents ,they must love it very much. If you have enough money, you can buy them something useful, such as a down garment, a suit, makeup and so on. And also you can buy something they are interested in. Buy him some good tea if your father loves tea very much, or fishtarcle if he loves fishing . If you don't have enough money, you can buy someting funny or lovely. maybe a delicate comb for Mom, a history book for Dad, or special local products in your study/work city. perhaps only a card with your own words that express your love to them.. I think we all should do this thing for them. Let's discuss about this topic, and choose the best gift for our parents as possible as we can ... [ Last edited by feipin on 2010-12-13 at 19:07 ] |
