【Discussion】can distant love lasts long

it's always said that absence makes the heart grow fonder. while there's another saying that absence sharpens love, presence strengthens it. the reality is that most lovers break up because of distance. many lovers fly to the different workplaces or hometowns after graduation and the enviroments change, the people change, the attitudes change with time. the same things lovers could talk become less and less. besides, people around u may run after u; family or friends may set u up a blind date. although u may refuse these things, u may worry about the same things would happen to your lover in the other city. as time went on, tears and absence wash away love.  what do u think? can distant love lasts long?  welcome to discuss!
