In modern society, there are many means of transportation, such as subway, taxi, bus and so on.My preference depends on the purpose of the travel.I'like to ride a bike when have a short trip.It can be full of fun and interesting.
My preference depends on the purpose of the travel.
I'd like to ride a bike on a short trip .It can be full of fun and interesting.And it helps to building up our body.Before entering unniversity,I often rode a bike to go to school .The picture that riding together with classmates along the way from school to home is still reminded in my memory. But things have changed. It's a pity our campus is so small that I can't enjoy the happiness and I haven't ridden for a long time.
When there is a long journey,I'd like to go by train .At the begain and  the end of the semester,train is the best choice for me to go back home.Because it's cheap and convenient. Meanwhile,I can go with my fellows, enjoy the happiness with them and the scenery outside the window. And I like the quiet of the journey when it's all dark. On the train, I can  also know a lot of  new friends from different places all  .It can be a mix of cultural that is educational and funny.
I have never travelled by air before.It gave me the impression that it's comfortable but expensive,and you can see nothing through the window but the air .
Although it has some disadvantages ,my favorite mean of transportation is bicycling.

In a small town, I prefer to ride a bicycle. In a large city, I prefer to travel by public transportation if there is a good public transportation system. In suburban district, I'd like to drive a car. If the traffic jam happens very often, I have no choice but take the metro or train. For the long distance journey, I can't find a replaceable way but the plane. Hope the high speed railway system of China become a better choice for the world.
