Previous researches were devoted to explain the change of allelic genes by studying the MC1R gene sequence of the pigs with the black and mixed-color phenotypes. However, due to the high inbreeding of the BMI bigs, the black individuals with pure and mixed genes and the mixed-color individuals with pure genes were generated in the same generation. Thus, it is of sepecial signifance to investigate the variation in MC1R allelic genes.
