此课题关于天线在局域网络中的应用，大家都来谈一下自己的理解，特别是红字部分。具体的问题如下，请大家请教

1. 为何“LMDS覆盖角度为600°～900°的区域，因此需4-6台发射机覆盖整个区域”

With the emergence of local multipoint distribution services (LMDS) that operate millimeter-wave signals in the 28GHz spectrum to provide services such as television, video on demand, internet access, interactive games as well as a host of other services to homes and offices, we aim at designing a shaped beam microstrip patch antenna array operating at 28GHz. Our design is suitable for applications such as hub to hub and hub to subscriber connections. Eight element and sixteen element arrays were designed and fabricated. The experimental data agree well with the simulated results.
