Open position of PhD student for computational chemistry for biomass thermal conversion under KTH-CSC program. Profile of the position: This project aims at understand the thermal conversion mechanism of biomass using computational chemistry. The successful candidate need own a master degree before he/she applies, have knowledge of Quantum chemistry/First principle/Molecular dynamics. Experience of studying reaction mechanism and using calculating software package (Gaussian, Material studio, VASP) is a great merit. This is 4-year PhD student position at the division of energy and furnace technology, the Royal Institute of Technology-KTH. Deadline of application: 2010-12-23. 我现在在北京某高校读博士二年级，想寻找机会联培1-2年，我是化工背景，有量子化学基础，请问是否有机会过去联培？ I am a PHD student in a university of Beijing, this is the second year for PHD period. My major was about Chemical Engineering during master period, and I also have the strong fundation in Quantum Chemistry. But, I just want spend 1 or 2 years for studying abroad, this is better for saving and managing my total time for PHD degree.
