A innovate approach was developed to synthesize indanol via the domino reaction. It was an exciting result that the chiral selectivity was achieved with the induction of the chiral ligands while the conversion of the reaction is a bit low. In addition, the important information about the endurance of the substrate groups could be not yet supplied. Therefore, a further research shall be made to investigate the adaptable range of such catalytic system by the change of varied substrates.
