【Pure water】another Octopus Paul

A five-month-old octopus, also named Paul, as a replacement, is moving into the original Paul’s home, just one week after the world-famous psychic died of natural causes. It is unclear whether Paul II will attempt to fill the psychic mollusc void left by his predecessor, with a spokeswoman for the aquarium admitting: “We haven’t tested him yet.” Paul II was originally meant to receive training from his famous namesake, presumably in the psychic art of football predictions and how to deal with the pressures that comes with fame. The spokeswoman explained that “unfortunately he died before he could do that”. The original Paul faced several death threats during the World Cup, in which he correctly predicted the outcome of eight games, including Spain’s World Cup Final victory. The centre plans to build a memorial for Paul, including a screen showing the “best and most moving moments” of his life.
