【原创】看看德国老板的回复, 洪堡博士后有多大的戏?

联系了一个本方向比较牛的德国教授,方向很近, 希望一起申请德国的相关基金,这是第一次的回信 I remember well meeting you recently in Cambridge. If you arrive at obtaining the necessary funding from China or elsewhere, you would be welcome to spend some time at my department. We could certainly offer you an office place here. However, I do not have funds or an open postdoc position from which I could pay your visit. I do not know about any funds available from Germany apart from DAAD: http://www.daad.de/en/index.html 这是第二次的回信 I have no experience how difficult it is to obtain a Humboldt Research Fellowship for Postdocs. There is certainly a strong competition, but you can try. If you need it, I can write a letter stating that I would be willing to accept you as a postdoc in my group.
