| The photocatalytic activity of the synthesized TiO2 with brookite, brookite-anatase and anatase was analyzed. The results showed that the photocatalytic activity of the anatase-brookite TiO2 was better than single-phase TiO2 and the photocatalytic activity varied with the content of mixed-crystal. TiO2 had the best photocatalytic activity when the ratio of brookite to anatase was 63.1% to 36.9%. The mixed-crystal effect of brookite and anatase played an important role in the noticeable improvement of the mixed-crystal photocatalytic activity. |
