[交流] 急！急！急！关于current microbiology投稿

本人写了一篇真菌的文章，想投current microbiology,想咨询下有投过这个期刊的大师们：
在springerlink投稿页上进入current microbiology，看了一下Instructions for Authors，里面是它的一些格式要求，发现一些不明白的地方：
1.Manuscript Type：有三个选项，original manuscripts、letter to the editor、Reviews.那么对于第一次投稿应该是选第一个吧？
2.上传文件，The electronic file should contain all text and table sections of the manuscript as one file。After uploading the RTF for text, you will be prompted for uploading graphics。也就是说 manuscript是一个文件，包括文本和表格，不包括图；图另外上传。但是在后面里又有一句话：Manuscripts must be no longer than 12 pages in length, inclusive of figures and tables。这里的manuscript包括图和表格，但是不能超过12页。那图是应该包括在manuscript还是不呢？还是我的图是用照相机拍的，那就是彩色的，Please make sure that the original illustrations are professionally drawn or photographed as black and white glossy prints of high quality。这里要求是黑白的，那我是还要用PS给改成黑白的？那上传图的时候，图上做的标记保留还是要去掉标记？
3.Title Page. This page should be submitted separately from the blinded text of the manuscript and should include：title/author.....但是在“Author Comments”不是填过作者信息什么了吗？而且在Author Comments这些是必填的，但是Author Comments没有通讯作者的选项。另外一个问题是title page是在什么时候上传呢，这里说的是submitted separately，单独提交。怎么提交？在Manuscript Central里有一个Cover letter需要填，这个也不是title page呀，而且后面上传文件时只有三个文件可以上传， File Attribute选项有：figure、image、table、main document、supplementary file.那么manuscript应该选main document；图选择figure 还是image？有三个图又怎么上传呢？table不用再上传了吧？
4.参考文献问题。References should appear in alphabetical order, numbered consecutively withArabic numbers.文献应该按字母顺序排列，前面再加阿拉伯数字：给出的例子：[1] An K, Urban DB..... as listed on page 4 [2] Faith WT, Neubeck CE .... as listed on page 4 [3] Gottschalk G(1986) ....as listed on page 4 这些文献不用换格写，直接紧凑的follow?而且它也没说在文章中参考的应该怎么索引啊？最严重的是，我下载了这个期刊的10年的文章，它是在文章按数字顺序排列，下边的参考文献是按照文章的先后顺序来排列的：
文章中，Auricularia mushrooms have been reported to prevent blood clotting [3]....
参考文献：3. Zeng XY, Li YD, He F, Chen LL, Lin MD (1994) Pharmacological actions of hyphae body of Auricularia auricula (L. ex Hook) Underw and its alcoholic extract. Chung Kuo Chung Yao Tsa Chih 19(7):430–432 (article in Chinese)
难道它10年改格式了？

这就是我琢磨了好几天它的instructions遇到的问题，我们老师直接就是甩手掌柜，从写文章到投文章一点意见都没给过，可怜啊~~请有投过这个期刊的给解救一下啊！不甚感激啊！！！
