the hanging temple in Datong shanxi province is located in the county of Hunyuan,65 kilometers from the city of Datong.it dates back to the later part  the period of north Wei about 1,500 years ago and was built according to this taoist theory:you can not hear crowing and bark while in here. it is about 50 meters above the ground. it is the only temple in China that has the statues of confucius,taoism,sakyamuni. the great poetre of Li po used to be there and he wrote "壮观"on one of the rocks.However, he thought the two words was not enough to describle the situation of the temple,so he added a point to the word "壮".Xuxiake,also, used to be there and was shocked by its spectacularity. it is beautiful,but its ticket is pretty dear,130 yuan per man.my god!
